Meritec's Straddle Mount PCI Express Connectors are designed to offer additional solutions for co-planar applications between PCBs.  This rugged design utilizing Meritec's patented Insert Molding Process ensures reliability with proper pin alignment and accurate contact registration which provides robust support.  Designed with a low profile which allows for dense packaging options.  These connectors are available in X1, X4, X8 and X16 configurations and all meet the PCI Express 2.0 specification for performance data rates running at 5.0 Gbps.

Features include:

• Plastic cover which protects the PCIe connector from dust and debris, and supports the connector for hybrid soldering applications requiring convection/IR heating
• Insert molded using crystal polymer for stability in hybrid board applications involving surface mount components
• Designed to mate with .062" thick daughter cards

• Low profile allows for dense packaging options
